The M131 is an antenna designed for receiving AM & FM frequencies of MW 525 kHz to 1705 kHz and FM 88 to 108 MHz. The M131 is the best all round performing antenna

Pros  - Excellent performing short antenna suitable for all mounting positions on vehicles.
Cons - I could not think of any

Available - with the DM4PN Dipole mount and plug

For Bonnet Mounting - It is not necessary to use a Spring, and it will not affect the performance of the antenna!
If you intend to mount this antenna on the bonnet or on the boot of a vehicle then you may find the Mobile One BMB mount to be an excellent choice, See image on the left. The BMB simply slides onto the side or your bonnet and then is held in place by two small grub screws, The BMB is the best bonnet mount for all two way radio, Scanner and AM/FM radio as it places the antenna close to the bonnet, this produces an excellent SWR where transmitting antennas are concerned and an excellent impedance where receiving antennas are concerned, The BMB is strong enough to take antennas up to 2mtrs long.

However the BMB does not fit all vehicles, in this case a Z-Bracket can be used, click on the image on the left.

SAL Spring

For Bull Bar Mounting - It is absolutely necessary to use a Spring!

It is important that when mounting any antenna on a bull bar that you add a spring below it, this is because when the vehicles engine is running it causes vibration and this vibration is then amplified to the front of the vehicle, Adding the SAL spring under the antenna absorbs the vibration from the engine and saves the antenna from eventual failing, Not all vehicles have vibration issues and some have such bad vibration that even with a spring the antenna will eventually fail.

This is the best performing AM / FM antenna and is guaranteed to improve the performance of you radio as long as it is combined with the correct Base and Cable. The M160 is centered on 96MHz with a gain of 2dBi.

The M160 is a 7mm thick fiberglass antenna that is also available in White, RED, GREEN, BLUE or YELLOW

Pros  - This enhances the FM signals nicely.
Cons - Too long for most folks use but put on the right hand side of a bonnet its awesome

UL4PN8 = Antenna Base with 4mtr RG58 (13ft) low loss, coax cable and a PN51 radio plug supplied.
UL4PN9 = Antenna Base with 4mtr RG59 (13ft) low frequency, low loss, coax cable and a PN51 radio plug supplied.
DM4PN = Dipole Base with 4mtr RG58 (13ft) low loss, coax cable and a PN51 radio plug supplied.
Note: Other cable lengths available on request. The PN51 is a solderless plug that is simple to attach to the cable!

The M1W is an antenna designed for receiving AM & Shortwave frequencies only i.e.: 525kHz to 21MHz,
It can be cut down to what ever length that is required but it is important to note that the longer the antenna the better its performance. The M1W is a 7mm thick fiberglass antenna that has a tight loading coil from the top to bottom which creates a sensitive antenna for very low frequencies.

The M1W is a 7mm thick fiberglass antenna that is also available in White, RED, GREEN, BLUE or YELLOW
                       The M1W will work on FM, but not as well, as a combined AM / FM antenna

Note - This antenna is designed to work only with a low capacitance cable RG62 or equivalent not CB radio coax 
Pros  - Combined with the APN16 , this is the best performing AM antenna on the market.
Cons - It is long and top heavy, it may need a heavy duty spring if on a high vibration installation

NOTE: The M1W can be cut to any length without too much reduction in performance
