477MHz UHF CB Monopole Antennas
All the antennas below have a 5/16" female fitting to suit all suitable UHF Bases and require to be mounted onto a metal surface.
The use of a Z bracket or spring will reduce their performance.

As these antennas are all 1/4 wave for the UHF CB Band, they need to be mounted so that the bottom of the antenna is as close to the surface of the metal ground plane as possible the very best way is to use a Mobile One UHF base on a BMB mount NOTE: Do not use a Z bracket as the antenna will be too high and have a worst SWR, Some gutter mounts will not work well either Recommended Accessories - UL4BNC or UB4PL with BMB or Mag3.6PL |
