The antennas below have a 5/16" female fitting to suit all UHF suitable Base's
and require to be mounted onto a metal ground plane area ie: car, bull bar etc.

Co-linear antennas should be mounted as close to the ground plane as possible for best results
The use of a Z bracket will reduce the performance of any no ground independent
co-linear antenna as it causes a untuned dipole effect
Never put a spring under any of these co-linear antennas, it will greatly reduce their performance
