and require to be mounted onto a metal ground plane area i.e. car, bull bar etc.

For best results Collinear antennas should be mounted as close to the metal ground plane as possible!
The use of a Z bracket will reduce the performance of any UHF non ground independent antenna.
Never put a spring under any of these collinear antennas, it will greatly reduce their performance.

CP477S

The CP477S is a popular choice for a very long antenna. Its a fibreglass ground independent collinear antenna that is available in white or black. It has a shock absorbing spring with a PL259 base to suit most SO239 type bases such as the Mobile One SOC12C or SAM2s and is usually mounted on the top of a bull bar.

Pros - Excellent choice for Bull Bar - With the best performance for moving vehicles.
Pros - Easily removed or exchanged with a shorter antenna CP474S or CP476S.
Cons - It is very long.

CP477SAMPK "Out of Stock until May"

The CP477SAMPK is the longest UHF CB antenna, it has the highest gain for any moving vehicle. Its a fibreglass ground independent collinear antenna that is available in white or black. It has a shock absorbing spring with a PL259 base to suit most SO239 type bases such as the Mobile One SOC12C or SAM2s and can be mounted almost anywhere on a vehicle.

The CP477SAMPK is complete with a SAM2S and a C12C cable assembly that allows the antenna to be mounted onto most bull bars, a 1/2" hole is required to mount the SAM2S onto a bull bar.

Pros - Excellent choice for Bull Bar - With the best performance for moving vehicles.
Pros - Easily remove or exchange with a shorter antenna CP476S or CP474S.

477MHz UHF CB Antennas

Mobile One UHF CB antennas are designed for 40 & 80 channel UHF radios

The antennas below have a 5/16" female fitting to suit all suitable UHF Base's and require to be mounted onto a metal ground plane area i.e. car, bull bar etc.

For best results Collinear antennas should be mounted as close to the metal ground plane as possible! The use of a Z bracket will reduce the performance of any UHF non ground independent antenna. Never put a spring under any of these collinear antennas, it will greatly reduce their performance.

The antennas below are Ground Independent - 'not requiring a ground plane' and can be mounted on any surface, anywhere. Many of the following antennas can be mounted onto a Magnet mount (MHRB)

Mobile One does not recommend the use of Magnet Mounts on Cars please ask
