A 1/4 wave helical antenna with BNC connector, covered entirely with polyolefin rubber heatshrink The BNCVAR124 has a specially made 1/4λ phosphor bronze helical coil tuned to produce an exceptionally broadband antenna for use on the entire Air Band 118MHz to 136MHz. Note: Also ideal for scanners that are mainly used for Air Band reception.

The Airkit is coated with Black polyolefin and is available in also in White, RED, GREEN, BLUE or YELLOW

The Airkit top section is a 1/4 wave 7mm thick broadband antenna that is 515mm long when tuned to the centre of the band ie: 124MHz

The Airkit bottom section is a rubber ducky antenna 260mm long when tuned to the centre of the band ie: 124MHz

Note: When mounting this antenna on a king post , It should be at least 300mm away from the post to get the best results.

This antenna is a hollow fibreglass ground independent with with 20mm aluminium anodized tube for mast mounting. The CDB124 is broadband covering the entire AIR band 118MHz to 136MHz without the need for tuning, however is centered on 124MHz and has a bandwidth of 6MHz under 1.6:1 SWR it is therefore important that the desired transmit frequency is taken into consideration.

The CDB124 has a SO239 Connector at its base in order to connect to a standard PL259

Pros  - Very broadband - covers the entire Airband 118 to 136MHz

Pros  - Ideal for scanning the Airwaves

Cons - Not suitable for mobile use and should be mounted as high as possible to get the best performance

SAN1090

The SAN1090 is a fibreglass high gain multi element omnidirectional collinear antenna that is designed for use for ADS-B reception. The SAN1090 has approximately one metre long of 50Ω low loss coax terminated in a FME Female Connector, however the antenna can be supplied with any connector but the size of the connector is to be taken into consideration as it has a 1/2" nut at its base.

Note: The SAN1090 can be supplied with any length coax and with almost any connector PLEASE ASK.
Note: The coax is to be kept as short as possible to get the best performance.
